Alfredshällskolan in Bjärred is a primary school (grades F-6) with approximately 300 students and 35 employees. The school is situated in a quiet residential area, a stone's throw from the sea, featuring pleasant facilities and an inspiring outdoor environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a person with a pedagogical approach and good knowledge of children's and young adult literature as well as media and information literacy (MIL). We would like you to have a norm-critical approach and to enjoy meeting children and young people. You have good collaboration skills while being self-reliant and proactive.

Together with the school librarian at each respective school and the pedagogues, you will lead and participate in pedagogical activities in the library and in the classrooms. You will be part of a network with other school librarians in Lomma Municipality. The role includes following up, evaluating, and developing the school library's operations based on the municipality's school library and library plan.

>The following tasks are included in the role, among others:

• Strengthen students' linguistic abilities and digital competence.
• Participate in/drive reading promotion work.
• Organize cultural activities.
• Teach MIL (Media and Information Literacy).

You see the school library as a pedagogical resource and a natural part of the school's teaching and students' learning. As a person, you are secure and have an egalitarian approach. QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Library and Information Science or other education assessed by the employer as equivalent.
• It is meritorious if you have experience in developing library operations and creating good collaboration with pedagogical staff.
• Very good collaboration skills.

Employment type: Permanent position.

We disclose salary for the 10th and 90th percentile: 49,720–53,990 SEK/month. The salary range is stated in accordance with current regulations on salary transparency.
